Yesterday we woke up to a very beautiful sight - snow!! We received about 4 inches of snow early Wednesday morning and it was just gorgeous the way that it covered the trees. Both K-State and Manhattan public schools were still in session - thank you, God! It is super stressful when Manhattan cancels for weather but K-State is still on. The kids were both shocked and amazed that it wasn't a snow day (and is was surprising because the roads were really bad in parts). To help make up for it, the tentative plan is to go sledding in the dark on our "dates" tonight.
