7:00 a.m. - We wake up this morning to find that it has begun snowing! Hooray! Annika came and got me and we snuggled in her bed together - this is the view out of her window.
It's hard to see in the picture, but the snow is coming down REALLY fast. (You can kind of make it out against the evergreen tree). The wind is also blowing the snow around a decent amount.

7:32 a.m. - I receive a phone call from American Airlines that my flight today has been canceled. Rats! The earliest I can leave is tomorrow at 5 p.m., arriving in San Diego at almost 10 p.m. Super bummed that I will miss the first day of the conference, but glad that it looks like I can still make it out there.
