Tonight was a fun event at Annika's school....Bergman Family Movie Night! The PTO put on a "Pajama and Movie Night" event, and the kids in the school got to vote for one of five movie choices. The big winner was The Lorax, which just barely beat out Brave. Our family used this as our March Family Volunteer Activity, and all four of us helped with set-up and clean-up. Amazingly, I think that everyone did help on some level, and no one was in the way which is always a huge win. :)
The school principal was there in her pajamas as well.
As we were getting set up. We had more than 100 people in attendance by the time everything started.
Other PTO moms getting set up! I have decided that I am going to be PTO secretary again next year. I really love being involved in the kids' school, and with Daniel starting kindergarten next year, that gives me at least 7 more years to hold the position. :)
We were able to get the water bottles donated by UMB Bank, and the popcorn donated by the movie theatre - they give you all of their unused popcorn in a giant trashbag, and we just had to scoop it into bags.
Earlier today, Will had his own adventure...helping Annika get set up for the Wamego Science Fair. Daniel was also out of school this afternoon, so he got to come, too. They left at about 2 p.m. to go set up in Wamego.
And because Will is awesome, he also took along Annika's friend Rachael so that she could set up her project, too!
